My Philosophy On Healing
Healing is not about fixing what’s broken. It’s about reconnecting with what’s always been whole.
In my work as a therapist, I’ve seen that real transformation happens not by trying to control symptoms or “think better”—but by gently turning toward the deeper layers of your experience: your nervous system, your relational patterns, and the protective strategies you learned to survive.
This is the heart of depth-oriented therapy. It’s not quick or linear. But it is powerful, lasting, and deeply human.
Healing as a Whole-Body, Whole-Self Process
Many traditional therapies focus on changing thoughts or behaviors. But we are not just our thoughts—we are sensations, instincts, emotions, and longings. Trauma, disconnection, and identity wounds often live in the body and relational field, not just the mind.
That’s why I work with integrative modalities like Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), NARM, and EMDR—approaches that help you access not only insight but embodied change.
These methods support you in shifting patterns from the inside out—through self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and relational repair.
The Role of NARM: Unwinding Developmental Patterns
A foundational part of my approach is the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), which helps uncover how early attachment wounds shape our adult experiences of connection, identity, and self-worth.
Rather than analyzing the past, NARM gently explores the present-day expressions of old survival strategies—like “I have to earn love,” or “I’m not allowed to need anyone.” In the safety of the therapeutic relationship, we begin to loosen these patterns and reconnect with your true self: open, connected, and alive.
Compassionate Self-Exploration as a Portal to Change
So many of us carry internalized shame or harsh inner critics. A core belief in my work is that every part of you makes sense. Even the ones that sabotage, shut down, or lash out.
Through parts work (IFS), somatic tracking, and relational safety, we bring compassion to these protective strategies—not to get rid of them, but to understand their wisdom and help them soften.
This opens the door to deep integration and healing at the root.
Integration as a Lived Practice
Healing is not about chasing peak experiences or breakthroughs. It’s about weaving what you’ve learned into your everyday life.
Whether we’re working through trauma, preparing for or integrating a psychedelic journey, or simply exploring who you are beneath the coping—my goal is to help you land in your body, in your truth, and in relationships that feel real and nourishing.
Healing is not about becoming someone else. It’s about coming home to yourself.
If you’re ready to begin this journey, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
