Individual Therapy

Depth-Oriented, Somatic, and Parts-Based Healing

Online sessions across BC, Alberta, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia & The Yukon

For when insight isn’t enough—and you’re ready to go deeper.

You’re thoughtful. Insightful. You’ve read the books, maybe done years of therapy. You know your patterns, but you still find yourself caught inside them.

Underneath it all, there might be a quiet shame you can’t fully shake, a sense of disconnection from your body or intuition, a fatigue that doesn’t feel physical, or the lingering feeling that you’re somehow not living your real life.

You don’t need a crisis to begin. You just need a place where your inner world is honored—not pathologized—and where healing is guided by what feels safe, ready, and true in your body.

What We Might Explore Together

Every client brings something unique. Our work will follow your pace, your system, and your needs. Common themes include:

  • Developmental and relational trauma

  • Chronic anxiety, emotional reactivity, or internal conflict

  • Shame, self-doubt, and the inner critic

  • Feeling emotionally overwhelmed, numb, or disconnected

  • Identity shifts, spiritual emergence, or grief

  • The sense that you’re surviving, not really living

This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about returning to parts of you that were never broken—just exiled, overburdened, or cut off from connection.

How Individual Therapy Can Help You

Once we begin tending to the deeper roots, change becomes possible—not just in how you think, but in how you feel, relate, and move through the world.

This work can support you in moving:

  • From complex or developmental trauma → toward safety, integration, and a reclaimed sense of self

  • From people-pleasing or emotional caretaking → to clear boundaries, self-trust, and inner leadership

  • From chronic anxiety or internal chaos → to nervous system regulation and grounded clarity

  • From shame or self-abandonment → to self-compassion and embodied confidence

  • From emotional overwhelm or disconnection → to more presence, capacity, and choice

  • From "high functioning but barely coping" → to feeling more deeply alive, congruent, and whole

Over time, clients often share they feel:

  • More calm and centered—even when life is stressful

  • Less reactive, with greater access to internal choice

  • More connected to their body, boundaries, and values

  • Reawakened to joy, creativity, and meaning

This is the shift from coping to embodied transformation.

From surviving… to actually living.

The Cornerstones of My Work

This is not symptom management.
This is healing at the root—through the body, in relationship, and at a pace that honours your system’s readiness.

Each session is grounded in the following values:

Safety & Attunement

Everything begins with safety.

Our work unfolds only when your nervous system feels ready. Together, we create a steady, non-judgmental space where your inner world is met with care—not urgency. You are never “too much” here.

Embodied Awareness

The body holds what words cannot.

We include the body in every step—tracking sensation, breath, and felt experience to access deeper layers of healing. This isn’t about fixing from the outside—it’s about listening from within.

self-Compassion

Healing deepens when you stop fighting yourself.

We welcome every emotion, every reaction, and every part of you with tenderness. Over time, you’ll build an internal tone of care that replaces shame with understanding.

relational depth

Healing happens in relationship.

The therapeutic bond becomes a sacred container—a place to gently re-pattern trust, boundaries, and intimacy. This is a space where your truth can land and be held.

empowered choice

You are the expert on your system.

We move at your pace, never forcing. You’ll be invited—but never pushed. This work is collaborative, rooted in consent, and designed to honour your voice, your timing, and your readiness.

integration & wholeness

Transformation isn’t in the peak—it’s in the weaving.

Whether you’re healing trauma or integrating altered states, our work supports the embodied integration of insight—so you’re not just understanding things, but living them more fully..

The Tools I Draw From

While our work is rooted in these core values, I also draw from a blend of depth-oriented modalities—including somatic therapy, parts work (IFS), NARM, EMDR, and psychedelic integration-informed care. These approaches gently support nervous system healing, inner clarity, and lasting change—from the inside out.

What to Expect on This Journey

When we’ve been shaped by trauma, life can feel like something we’re managing—not fully inhabiting.
Therapy offers a chance to come home to yourself—to rebuild safety, restore connection, and remember who you are beneath the survival strategies.

1. Coming Home to Your System

We begin by slowing down and cultivating internal safety.
Together, we build awareness of your body’s signals, your inner parts, and the protective patterns that have helped you survive. This stage is about re-establishing connection—with your breath, your body, and your sense of Self.

2. Tending the Roots

As safety deepens, we begin to explore what lies beneath the surface: unresolved grief, shame, fear, or unmet developmental needs.
Here, we hold space for what was never witnessed—and create new possibilities for healing, integration, and emotional repair.

3. Living From Wholeness

With the weight of the past softened, you begin to live with more clarity and coherence.
We strengthen your connection to what matters most—your values, vitality, and inner truth—so you can move through the world with greater ease, confidence, and aliveness.

 FAQs

  • Yes. Especially if you’re ready to explore what’s underneath old patterns. This work isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about supporting lasting change through nervous system care, self-compassion, and deeper integration.

  • Yes—many of my clients are returning to therapy after realizing that insight alone wasn’t enough. This approach is ideal if you’ve done talk therapy in the past but still feel stuck, disconnected, or emotionally dysregulated.

You don’t need a new diagnosis—just a desire to go deeper.

  • Not at all. You don’t need a diagnosis to begin. I work with many clients who carry the long-term effects of complex trauma, emotional neglect, or early misattunement—even if they don’t identify as “traumatized.”

  • Standard sessions are 60 minutes, with longer formats (90–180 minutes) available through therapy intensives.

I work from a commitment-based model. To begin, I typically offer weekly sessions, which support trust, safety, and nervous system regulation—especially in the early phases of depth work.
In fact, research consistently shows that weekly therapy is most effective in generating lasting change. Once a strong foundation is in place, we may shift to biweekly sessions if appropriate.

While every healing path is unique, I recommend committing to at least 3–6 months of consistent therapy. This allows time for clarity, momentum, and integration to unfold.

I don’t offer drop-in or one-off sessions, as this work requires presence and continuity.

  • My standard rate is $250 CAD for a full 60-minute individual therapy session.

This reflects over a decade of experience and extensive training in somatic therapy, IFS, NARM, EMDR, and psychedelic integration.

Receipts are provided for Registered Social Work (MSW, RSW) services, which are often reimbursable under extended health plans in Canada.
Please check with your provider to confirm coverage in your province.

Currently, my sliding scale spots are full.
